Spilling the tea! 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couples reunited for the season 3 tell-all special to talk about family plans, secret weddings, cheating suspicions and more.
The Sunday, December 5, episode came after four duos tied the knot during the November 28 finale. Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh got married without telling his parents because they feared they would try to stop the wedding.
“We don’t know what our future holds,” Jenny said after making things official. “The only thing we know is that we’re happy together and we’re living our life the way that we want to.”
Sumit exclusively told Us Weekly in August that he still hoped his parents would be present for his wedding to Jenny. “I would love that. Yeah, definitely, for sure, no doubt,” he noted at the time. “I keep trying, I’m still trying.”
Jenny added: “Keep praying.”
The California native explained at the time that she would “feel more confident” about her relationship with Sumit if she was his wife. “I would like [a traditional Indian ceremony], but it doesn’t really matter to me. Just marrying Sumit is the main thing, and that’s what will make me the most happy,” she told Us. “It doesn’t have to be a big, traditional Indian wedding to make me happy. I’ll be fine with whatever it is.”
Alina and Steven Johnston also got married during the season 3 finale after a bumpy path to the altar. “There were moments when I thought our relationship wouldn’t lead to a wedding,” she said during the episode. “But I’m sure that Steven really loves me, that his love is sincere. I’m certain I made the right decision.”
Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas, meanwhile, ended the season on a happy note, but things changed before the tell-all. “Our relationship has never been easy, and we come from different worlds, but we complement each other so well,” she told him in her wedding vows. “Thank you for pushing me to be here today [at] this wedding.”
For his part, Armando Rubio was apprehensive about his finale nuptials with Kenny Niedermeier because he worried about how his family would react, but they were supportive of the union in the end. Despite the change of opinion, the couple’s families were split during the reunion special on whether they should have a baby.

The reality star confessed that he had been conversing with other women after an argument with his wife. “Alina and I had gotten in a fight recently and I was really frustrated, and last week, probably about nine girls were sending me inappropriate messages and images of, like, their boobs and naked pictures,” he divulged. “I started responding back — kind of encouraging that.” Steven admitted to “foolishly” sending pictures of himself to the women, though he claimed that he was “fully clothed” yet sticking his tongue out. “I have kind of a long tongue, and I was saying, ‘Wow, I have a really long tongue. Too bad I don’t know how to use it,’” he revealed. “Or if they sent me a picture of themselves nude, I’d be like, ‘Wow, you’re so hot.’” He claimed that he only sent the messages because he was trying to control certain desires. “I have a lot of sexual energy, so there was a lot of repression going on within myself. It would be easier if we were able to find a way where I wouldn’t have to repress these urges and these feelings as much,” he said. “For some reason, I really want to have a threesome. … I had told Alina about this nearly since the beginning that it’s something I wanted to try.” Alina shared that she felt “lost and confused” when he told her about wanting to have a threesome. After Steven’s ex Vanessa told Alina that he slept with three women in Russia while they were together and urged her to divorce him, Alina replied, “I can’t just walk away. I have a hope that he loves me enough to be able to change.” Alina added that she was giving him one “last” chance, and he said he was going to seek help from a psychologist. Discovery+
Host Shaun Robinson gave Sumit multiple opportunities to come clean to his parents, which he intended to do, but after they once again voiced their disapproval of Jenny, he chose to wait. “That why I want to be there because I realize that when I’m telling them that I’m married, I want my parents in front of me,” he said of his decision to inform them in person. Amid the tell-all taping, Kenny was back in the U.S. awaiting the birth of a new grandchild. However, his three adult daughters expressed that they do not want him to have a baby of his own with his husband. “We’re so far away, we’re so much older, we have our own lives, and then you are almost 60, and you’ll be so consumed with your new baby,” one of his daughters said through tears. “It’s just a lot.” Discovery+
The Ethiopia native got his K-1 visa and relocated to the U.S. with Ariela. “I think Biniyam having the opportunity to be in the U.S. and see where I’m from, understand me better … I think it makes the relationship stronger by showing, OK, we don’t need things from each other. We just want each other,” she shared. Ariela’s ex-husband, Leandro, stopped by to tell Biniyam that he would not back off from his friendship with Ariela unless she wanted him to do so. She then got in a fight with Biniyam’s sisters and stormed off the set because she alleged that they were lying to try to break them up. “I never, ever, ever wanna speak to either of you again,” Ariela declared. “You guys are pathetic. You are not my family. I do not want you in my life. They’re just jealous.” Biniyam thought that the relationship between Ariela and his sisters could be salvaged, but she insisted she was done with them. Discovery+
The Providencia native also moved to the U.S. after applying for his K-1 visa prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and the hurricane that damaged his home. “I’m in the U.S. right now, but I’m not planning to live here,” he explained. “I want to be with her, but I also want to take her back to the island.” Ellie and Victor continued to disagree about money, and she revealed that she has given him $5,000, though he still called her “cheap.” She then assured that he is not able to use her credit card. Evelin was aware of Corey’s relationship with his ex Jenny during their separation, but he was caught in a lie after telling her he no longer held a candle for Jenny. “I have feelings for Jenny as a person,” he told the cameras in a past clip, contradicting what he told Evelin. “I really do care about the time we spent together, but my heart and my love and my future is with Evelin.” Evelin claimed that Corey swore on his late father that he did not feel anything for Jenny after their split. “It makes me doubt. Who is this person? What has happened?” she asked. “Because I know this is not the guy that I married. This is not the guy that I dated for all these years. It’s hard.” Corey admitted that he made “mistakes” and apologized after Evelin said she didn’t trust him anymore. She believed their relationship was “toxic” and considered having a therapist assist them in breaking up for good. However, by the end of the tell-all, she was willing to try to make it work, divulging, “If I see a change, maybe there will be a chance.” Discovery+
