The drama continues! Season 4 of Selling Sunset may have been forced to slow down during the coronavirus pandemic — but the fan favorites will be back and better than ever soon.

The Netflix reality show became an instant hit when it premiered in March 2019, originally starring Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young, Maya Vander and Brett and Jason Oppenheim. Seasons 2 and 3 saw the addition of Amanza Smith and included a larger role for Davina Potratz, who appeared briefly in the debut season.

Selling Sunset follows the high-end realtors of the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles as they compete to sell some of the city’s most expensive homes, and like any good reality series, it isn’t short on personal drama. In season 3, which hit the streaming platform in August 2020, viewers watched Chrishell grapple with her public split from ex-husband Justin Hartley, causing her coworkers to take sides.

Long before its fourth season was officially confirmed in March 2021, the show’s stars were already hyped to start the next chapter. “This is my baby,” Christine told Women’s Health in late 2020. “I love being on the show, I love entertaining people, I love making people laugh, I love inspiring people, and I love showing people that you can be a badass boss.”

Life might look a little different for the Texas native in the upcoming season, which will likely document her first pregnancy. Christine welcomed a baby boy with husband Christian Richard in May 2021, three months after Us Weekly confirmed she was expecting.

Christine isn’t the only cast member who’s hit major milestones since cameras stopped rolling. Heather announced her engagement to Tarek El Moussa in July 2020 after one year together, and while she hasn’t held back from mentioning her romance on the show, fans might not be seeing her exchange vows on TV.

“We’re thinking about not shooting the wedding — just ’cause, you know, it’s such a special day,” the Tarek’s Flip Side star told Us exclusively in September 2020. “I mean, if there was a way to shoot it and act like [the cameras were] not there, I’m sure we would do it, but I don’t know if that’s a possibility. It’s a real special day for us.”

Chrishell’s love life will also bring plenty to the Selling Sunset table in the wake of her divorce from the This Is Us actor, which was finalized in January 2021. She later sparked a brief romance with Dancing With the Stars pro Keo Motsepe, who Mary previously thought would make a cameo on the Netflix series before the duo called it quits in February 2021. While it didn’t work out in the end, Mary is proud of Chrishell for learning what she needs out of a relationship after her ups and downs.

“I think she knows how strong she is now. And she knows she’s not going to settle. She’s just extremely happy,” the reality star told Us in January 2021 “She’s really focused on herself and her well-being. I’m so proud of her and have been able to handle it as well as she did. She would just handle it with grace.”

What Does the Trailer Tease?
In the first trailer for season 4, which dropped in November 2021, fans found out that newcomer Emma and OG Christine already had history. Emma is called in to help Christine, who was pregnant during filming, but things didn't go well. "I'm here to work and hopefully all this high school drama that I've dealt with for years can stay like Christine, out of mind," Emma said in the teaser, later hinting that the Oppenheim Group will have to choose between the two. The trailer also hints at the rocky friendship between Christine and Heather. The California native previously told Us Weekly that she hasn't been close to Christine "for over a year now," adding in September 2021, "If I don't trust someone a hundred percent, I just am choosing to not have them in my life. So [Christine] is there as a coworker, but as far as the friendship, it's just not there." Netflix
Will Chrishell and Jason’s Relationship Be Front and Center?
Ahead of the show's November 2021 premiere, Chrishell told Cosmopolitan UK that her relationship with Jason wouldn't be included in this season since filming started several months before they went public with their romance in July 2021. Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock
When Did Filming Start?
Production was delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic, but in May 2021, the reality stars took to Instagram to kick off the new season. "Me & my GIRLS, back like we never left," Heather captioned a cast selfie in the office.  Courtesy of Mary Fitzgerald/Instagram
Who’s Coming Back?
Based on the social media uploads from early filming, most of the main cast fans know and love — including Chrishell, Christine, Heather Mary and Maya — are returning for the new season. Davina's future with the Oppenheim Group was up in the air at the end of season 3, but she might not be the only missing face: Brett left to start his own venture, Oppenheim Real Estate.  "It may be the battle of the brokerages!" Christine said to Glamour UK in August 2020, teasing "the juiciest season ever." Courtesy Netflix
Are There New Cast Members?
Season 4 will include Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela, who seem relatively new to the world of real estate. "They are in different stages in their real estate [careers] and obviously, it definitely stirs the pot a little bit. But I will say they're really lovely," Chrishell told Us in June 2021.  Netflix (2)
When Will It Air?
An official release date hasn't been announced, but Chrishell told Us in June 2021 that new episodes would be out before the end of the year. Three months later, Quinn told Entertainment Tonight that she was hoping the new season would be released "by the end of the year." "It's gonna be a good time. We hope the show will be out by then," she teased at the time. Netflix announced in October that season 4 would start streaming on Wednesday, November 24.  Courtesy Netflix
Who’s Still Feuding?
Longtime fans of the Netflix series know Chrishell and Christine haven't always been on great terms — and season 4 might make things even messier. Christine told Us in June 2021 that "there's no tension" between her and her costar, adding, "I haven't seen Chrishell in a really long time." Later that month, however, the Kentucky native told Us she and Christine are "not friends."  Other possible feuds include Davina and Jason, who've consistently butted heads over Davina's $75 million listing, and Amanza and Heather, who got into a tiff about coparenting during season 2.  Shutterstock (2)
Will Tarek Appear?
Before filming for season 4 kicked off, the Flip or Flop star told Us that "there is a chance" he'd be interested in making a cameo in his fiancée's series. "Who knows what the future holds. I would love to film with her one day," he teased in September 2020, noting, "I think the fans would enjoy it." Courtesy of Heather Rae Young/Instagram
All Work and No Play?
Chrishell joined Mary and her husband, Romain Bonnet, as well as Jason, Brett and Brett’s rumored girlfriend Tina Louise for a fun getaway in Italy in July 2021 during a break from filming the reality show. “Family brunch,” Chrishell captioned a photo of the group in Positano via her Instagram Story. Mary shared the same snap, writing, “Buongiorno from Positano! Truly Straordinario 😍.” Courtesy Tina Louise/Instagram
Selling to Superheroes
Chrishell will show properties to Simu Liu, the star of Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, in the new episodes — a connection that was made via Twitter. "It started very innocently enough of me just being excited that he was a fan of the show because I felt like he wasn't the kind of person that you would have expected to be watching and actively tweeting about it," the realtor told Entertainment Weekly. "So I took it as a huge compliment and thought it was super cool. Then it just happened so innocently — he mentioned that he might be actually looking for a place soon, and then I was like, um, I can help you with that." Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock
