Roasted! The Jonas Brothers’ wives — Priyanka Chopra, Danielle Jonas and Sophie Turner — didn’t hold back while teasing their husbands during Netflix’s new comedy special about the family.
Released on Tuesday, November 23, Jonas Brothers Family Roast featured professional comedians including Kenan Thompson, Pete Davidson, Lilly Singh and Jack Whitehall, but the Jonas wives got in some of the best digs of the evening.
“I am honored and so thrilled, actually, and tickled to be here tonight to roast my husband, Nick Jonas,” Chopra, 39, began during her segment. “And his brothers whose names I can never remember.”
The former Quantico star and the “Chains” singer, 29, tied the knot in December 2018 after less than one year of dating. During the Netflix special, the Baywatch actress poked fun at the fact that Nick is the only band member who hasn’t had kids yet. At one point, she pretended she was about to announce her pregnancy, only to take things in a very different direction.
“Nick and I are expecting … to get drunk tonight! And sleep in tomorrow!” the Unfinished author exclaimed, telling Nick that his “face was really funny” when she began the joke. The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor replied, “I was a bit concerned.”
Aside from the wives, Davidson, 28, fired some of the best shots of the show while wearing an “I
JONAS” T-shirt. “Nick’s a legit actor now,” the Saturday Night Live star quipped. “He’s won everything from a Kids’ Choice Award to a Teen Choice Award.”
In another scene, the King of Staten Island actor donned a wig to imitate Frankie Jonas, the brothers’ youngest sibling. “They call me the Bonus Jonas because I’m the only one who doesn’t get a salary,” Davidson joked. “I live entirely on Christmas and birthday gifts from these three.”
The real Frankie, 21, couldn’t attend because he was traveling in Europe during filming, but he told Bustle that he “contributed jokes and suggestions” for the special. “I’m very glad I got to give them some spicy nuggets to exploit for laughs!” he added. “I’m super excited to see the show, from everything I’ve heard it’s hilarious and a lot of fun.”
Earlier this year, Joe, 32, admitted that he and his bandmates apologized to Frankie for calling him the “Bonus Jonas” after they found out it hurt his feelings. “It completely makes sense, and we’ve had lengthy conversations and apologies behind closed doors that showcased my understanding and respect for his wishes,” he told Bustle in April. “I think to feel like you are second, third or fourth best from something is unfair; we are all equals.”

"I'm from India, a country rich in culture, in music, in entertainment," Chopra joked. "So clearly the Jonas Brothers didn't make it over there." The actress also addressed the 10-year age gap between the duo. "We teach each other things," she explained. "He showed me how to use TikTok, for example. And I showed him what a successful acting career looks like." Finally, she revealed who she'd leave Nick for if the opportunity ever arose. "I wouldn't want to be married to anyone else, guys, I'm serious," she said. "Unless of course Chris Hemsworth suddenly became single. Might change things." Terence Patrick/Netflix
The Married to Jonas alum, 35, lost her voice before the show, so host Thompson, 43, told her jokes for her. "I met Kevin on vacation, and before that, the only thing I've done on vacation that ruined my life was getting vacation braids," the Kenan star read. "I basically ignored him the whole time, which he loved because he said it reminded him of his mom." Danielle also teased Kevin, 34, about their daughters Alena, 7, and Valentina, 5. "We had them the old-fashioned way, when he went on tour and I slept with the milkman," Thompson read. "And like most people, our daughters don't even know that he's famous." The Emmy nominee, 25, began her segment with a riff on the purity rings the brothers used to wear. "Joe and the purity ring thing was kind of like a modern-day Cinderella. Joe tried to find a match for his purity rings a few times, but finally, the finger fit me," she quipped. "It was also like Cinderella because most of the girls he tried it with were under contract to Disney." Later, she thanked Joe for helping her hone her American vocabulary after moving to the U.S. from England. "Interestingly, on this side of the Atlantic, the sequel to Camp Rock was called Camp Rock 2. Whereas in England it was called a load of s–t," she said. The Dark Phoenix actress also joked that she met a new man at the taping: "Joe, don't wait up — Pete Davidson slipped me his phone number." Gizelle Hernandez/ Netflix
The Guy Code alum targeted the band's music, among other things. "You know Nick had a hit called 'Jealous.' Though it would have been way more believable if Kevin was singing it," he joked. "Haven't you ever heard the song 'Roller Coaster?' Do you know how brave it is to do a song about something none of them are tall enough to ride?" He also got in a dig about Joe's marriage to Turner that referenced her time on Game of Thrones. "A Little Bit Longer is both my favorite album, and it's what Sophie wishes Joe's penis was," Davidson said. "Winter is coming, but Sophie not so much." Terence Patrick/Netflix
