Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista is a proud stepmom to the children of her husband, Chiz Escudero. We just thought that actress Heart Evangelista was full of glitz and glamor. But most are unaware of the hardships she went through.

Aside from the very difficult situation she and her husband Chiz Escudero had because Heart's parents were opposed to their relationship, the actress also experienced the hardship of being a stepmother to the twin children of Chiz with his first wife.

In her YouTube vlog, the actress admitted that she was having a hard time adjusting because she wants to do a lot of this with her husband since they got married.


Heart said,

“In the beginning, I must admit that it was very, very hard for me to adjust because I’m the youngest of my siblings. And again, I never really had total freedom in my life. And then finally, when I was married, I had all the freedom.

“But then, you know, I couldn’t make out with my husband anywhere in the house because we have kids. And that was really, really hard for me. I mean, making out was not the hard part, I’m just sa­ying that the set-up was such an adjustment because I really had to mature and I wasn’t thinking my age. I was so much more immature during those times. So it was really hard for me, I would cry.”


But little did she know, she gradually loves and grew fondness to the twins. She also considered them as her children. Now, Heart is happy to be the mother of Quino and Chesi.

Heart and Chiz started their relationship in the year 2012 and the two decided to get married in 2015 at the Balesin Island, Polilo Quezon. 


Heart and Chiz are now living happily together.
